Eligibility & Qualifications
- Essential Educational Qualification:
- Post Graduate Degree in Ayurveda, included in the 2nd Schedule of the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970.
- Must be enrolled in the Central or State Register of Indian Medicine.
- Experience:
- At least 20 years of experience in Research and/or Teaching in Group A level posts.
- Should have either:
- Minimum three years of regular service in a post in PB-4 with Grade Pay of Rs. 8,700 or equivalent/corresponding pay scale, OR
- Eight years of regular service in a post in PB-3 with Grade Pay of Rs. 7,600 or equivalent/corresponding pay scale.
- Quality research work published in peer-reviewed research journals is mandatory.
- Desirable Qualifications:
- Administrative experience in Ayurveda with Central/State Government or Autonomous Bodies.
- Ph.D. in Ayurveda.
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 58 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications.
