### 3. General Eligibility Criteria

**Educational Qualifications:**
- B.E./B.Tech./Diploma in Chemical Engineering **OR**
- B.Sc. Graduate with Chemistry as one of the major subjects

**Mandatory Apprenticeship:**
- Apprenticeship in Chemical Trade as per Apprenticeship Act 1961 **IN**
- Ordnance Factories under Munitions India Limited **OR**
- Factories manufacturing/handling ammunitions & explosives **OR**
- Factories other than those manufacturing/handling ammunitions & explosives

**Age Limit:**
- Maximum: 30 years as on the date of publication of the advertisement.
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years (only for posts reserved for SC/ST)
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years (only for posts reserved for OBC)
