**Electrical Overseer / Sub-Inspector**

- **Role Overview:** Electrical Overseer / Sub-Inspector is responsible for supervising and enforcing regulations related to electrical engineering practices, ensuring safety and compliance in electrical and mechanical workshops, as well as electricity generation, transmission, and distribution operations. The role also includes administrative responsibilities under relevant Acts and Rules.

### 3. General Eligibility Criteria

- **Educational Qualification:**
- 3 years Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized university or institution.

- **Experience:**
- One year of relevant experience for Diploma holders in the practice of Electrical Engineering, including work in electrical or mechanical engineering workshops, or in generation, transmission, distribution of electricity, or administration of relevant Acts and Rules.

- **Training Requirement:**
- Induction Training of at least 2 weeks (or as prescribed by the Cadre Authority) is mandatory for completion of probation.

- **Age Limit:**
- 18 to 27 years as on the closing date of application.
- Age relaxation up to 40 years for Departmental Candidates, as per Central Government guidelines.
