The following teaching positions are available on a contract basis at PM Shri School JNV Chandimal, Basudevpur, Bhadrak:
- PGT (Post Graduate Teacher): Various subjects (e.g., English, Science, Mathematics, Hindi, Odia, Computer Science, etc.)
- TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher): Subjects including English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Odia, Sanskrit, Hindi, Art, Physical Education, etc.
- Miscellaneous Teachers: Music, Art, PET (Physical Education Teacher), Librarian
Note: The exact number of vacancies in each subject will be notified at the time of interview/document verification. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS and local candidates will be as per Government of India norms.
Eligibility
- Educational Qualification:
- For PGT: Master’s degree in relevant subject with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university/institution.
- For TGT: Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university/institution.
- For Miscellaneous Teachers: Degree/Diploma in relevant discipline (Music/Art/Physical Education/Library Science) with required experience.
- Age Limit: Usually between 21 and 50 years as on 1st July 2026. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per rules.
- Other Criteria: Proficiency to teach in English and Odia. CTET qualification is preferred for TGT posts but not mandatory for contract engagement. Experience in residential schools will be an added advantage.
- Candidates must be citizens of India. Local candidates from Bhadrak and neighbouring districts will be given preference.
