Eligibility

• Warden:
  • Qualification: B.A. or B.Sc. from a recognized university.
  • Age: 30 to 60 years as on date of advertisement. Retired teachers up to 62 years may also apply if physically & mentally fit.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in hostel management.
  • Other: Only male candidates. Preference to local residents of the block or nearby blocks within Mayurbhanj.
• Chowkidar-cum-Sweeper:
  • Qualification: Must have passed HSC (Matriculation/10th) examination from a recognized Board.
  • Age: 21 to 32 years as on date of advertisement.
  • Other: Only male candidates. Preference to local candidates.
• Head Cook:
  • Qualification: Practical knowledge in cooking; trained candidates given preference.
  • Age: 30 to 50 years as on date of advertisement.
  • Other: Only male candidates. Must be able to use LPG, maintain hygiene, and cook a variety of dishes.
• Assistant Cook:
  • Qualification: Practical cooking skills; trained candidates preferred.
  • Age: 21 to 32 years as on date of advertisement.
  • Other: Only male candidates. Must be able to use LPG, maintain hygiene, and assist in cooking duties.

Note: All positions require the candidate to stay in the Boys’ Hostel 24x7. Only local candidates from Mayurbhanj district are eligible to apply. If suitable candidates are not found within the block, then preference will be extended to adjoining blocks of the district.
