Eligibility
Eligibility criteria for each post are as per Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) norms. Key points include:

Educational Qualifications:
- For PGTs: Master’s Degree in respective subject with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. (except for PGT Computer Science).
- For TGTs: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subject with at least 50% marks and B.Ed., along with CTET qualification.
- Music/Art/PET/Librarian: Relevant degree/diploma in respective discipline from a recognised institution.
- Staff Nurse: Diploma/B.Sc. in Nursing with valid registration.
- Counsellor: Postgraduate in Psychology/Child Development or related subject with relevant experience.
- Age Limit: Generally, the upper age limit is 35 years for TGTs and 40 years for PGTs/other posts as on 1st July 2026. Relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-servicemen as per government rules.
- Experience: Teaching experience in CBSE/English medium schools is desirable for teaching positions.
- Domicile: Candidates with Odisha domicile/local candidates will be given preference, especially for TGT Odia and non-teaching posts.
